There’s a Ghost in this House

Who loves a good ghost story? This is such a delightfully eerie (but not spooky) book! I read this to my son and he was so intrigued. He loved searching for the ghosts on each page and of course had over a hundred questions about them!

In, There’s a Ghost in this House, by Oliver Jeffers, a young girl is just sure that there’s a ghost living in her house. She takes the reader on a tour, showing each room and wondering where the ghosts may be. What do they look like? Do they only come out at night? How is she going to find them? 

Reading Questions:

• What do you think a ghost looks like?
• Do you think the girl will ever see a ghost?

My son also loved guessing where he thought the silly ghosts would appear before flipping the tracing page over!
