Hi my name is Ashley and I am very happy you are here! I absolutely LOVE children’s books and wanted to create a space to share them with you! Thats why I created Story Book Planet. My goal is to help promote a love of reading by connecting you to some of my favorite stories, literacy tips, and more. Hopefully Story Book Planet will help the young readers in your life discover new stories they can enjoy over and over again. There is always something so special about a good book!
A little about me…
My life has always been in the PNW and I love it here (rain and all!) I have my bachelors degree in Elementary Education and my masters degree in Reading and Literacy Education. After teaching for over ten years, I decided to be a stay at home mama to my two wild babies (now 2 & 5 years old). We love visiting the library weekly and finding all of the best books we can get our hands on! I am also an aspiring children’s book author so I hope to share my journey with you as well!
